On December 1, 2023, the United Beagle Clubs and West Penn Association held their annual Holiday and awards banquet at Franklin Twp. Beagle Club. We were down in attendance this year by a few but everyone in attendance really showed up with outstanding prizes for the Chinese auction and were not afraid to spend their money on a chance to take one or more of the prizes home. Trying a new tactic this year to win was Josh Bickerstaff, he was not present but sent money for his brother Brandon to handle his chances on the auction and handle he did, Josh won multiple times. We trust that his brother got him all his winnings. As always, the traditional framed photo was the last item to go, and this year’s winner was Chris Alexander. In total the United Clubs added all most $1,500.00 from this year's banquet to the Winner Stake payout for 2024. No other sanction trial organization has more fun and does it better than the UBC.
